Babidi, reassured, flies back up to see if Pui Pui had finished yet, but is taken aback because the fighting hasn't even started yet.Īfter winning a game of Rock-Paper-Scissors with Goku and Gohan, Vegeta gets to fight first and challenges Pui Pui. He starts to wonder if maybe he was a bit too hasty in eliminating Spopovich and Yamu, but Dabura reassures him that the energy of the fools they lured into the ship will finish the job and Majin Buu will be revived by the end of the day. Babidi, however, ends up getting a shock, as the single injection has given them almost half the energy, they need to revive Majin Buu. Babidi injects the Energy-Suction Device into the Sealed Ball containing Majin Buu. Dabura then retreats back into Babidi's spaceship, telling the brave Saiyans to wander into their domain if they dare.ĭabura joins Babidi in a monitoring room and watches as the Z Fighters and Shin enter the spaceship, being greeted by Pui Pui at level one. He then quickly leaps in the air and spits on Piccolo and Krillin, quickly turning them into stone, with Shin explaining the only way they can turn back to normal is if Dabura dies. In the anime, Goku and Vegeta charge Dabura in an attempt to stop him but they underestimate him and do not even bother to transform into Super Saiyans, and the demon easily fends off their attacks. With a single blast, he kills Kibito, still grinning while he does so. Babidi and Pui Pui then retreat inside of the ship.įollowing his order, Dabura quickly charges toward the group, despite them hiding their Ki. The evil wizard also specifically orders Dabura to spare the Supreme Kai, as he personally wishes to finish him off for murdering his father, which the demon understands and agrees with. Dabura is ordered to kill all but the strongest three, and lure the remainder inside the ship, who will be desperate to avenge their fallen comrades. As it takes a massive amount of energy to awaken Majin Buu, Babidi decides to use theirs and is glad that the Majin will be revived sooner than they thought. Dabura notes that there's seven of them and, even if they can't use Shin or Kibito's energy, three of the others have great strength. After killing Yamu and Spopovich and gathering the energy they stole from Gohan, Babidi and Dabura become aware of the Dragon Team hiding in the mountains nearby. In Dragon Ball Heroes and Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, Dabura is shown to have a good relationship with his younger sister, whom he has shown to care for in a big brotherly fashion. In addition, when he is revived by Goku in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, he has taken to becoming a pacifist and is reluctant to spar with him. Later, in filler, Dabura's personality completely changes when he enters Heaven and sees actual loving concern from Videl for Gohan's safety back on Earth, coming to the conclusion he wishes to be loved in a similar way and make friends. As such, although he first underestimated Innocent Buu, after experiencing the monster's power firsthand, he explained to Babidi that the former was too powerful to control and needed to be sealed up again before he might retaliate against him, which he deduced correctly. When controlled by Babidi, Dabura stays completely loyal to his master, but does not always agree with every step Babidi takes and is not afraid to question his master's actions if they seem impractical or a disadvantage to their plans. However, there are several changes to this iconic look: Dabura wears a light blue suit which covers his entire body minus his musclebound chest, along with a white spiked cape, a white circular belt, and white boots.ĭabura's personality, while very sadistic in terms of his battle actions and methods of disposing of enemies, is also very sophisticated and well-mannered, speaking in a very articulate fashion, even complimenting the talents of his opponents with his deep, booming voice.
